Thunderbird/Ubuntu, I see the file as .mp4 . No extra .mpg extension.
Weird that the web site adds an extra extension.

Am I correct when I say that I only see a black screen through the whole
"animation"?
You guys have made me confused ;-)

No there is more than that.
In Tbird I can view the animation directly but it will not save. I see
it named jk_povtons_01_preview.mp4
On the website I see it named jk_povtons_01_preview.mp4.mpg
It downloads and plays directly using MPC-HC (My default player.) It
does not play with Windows Media Player even when removing the ".mpg"
It is a good start and worth the effort.

BTW in the animation between 12 & 13 seconds. There is a change in the
black and yellow striped material.

Yes - it's like the frequency of the stripes get increased for some reason.

Don't blame us.
It's either a conscious choice on your part, or you were born that way.
No trying to imply that it's the result of some sort of POV-user social
construct.
And always you two with the negativity. First there's Stephen with his negative
light sources, and now you with your con-fusion.
I've always been pro-fusion myself, and really, with all the new discoveries
involving graphene, there are some alternatives and with the implications of
quantum entangled gravity, we may just find a way around that pesky
Lennard-Jones potential.

It's only a preview. After repainting the walls I had to adjust the stripes.
Maybe I don't do that again, while rendering the final version.

Well don't confuse me (with someone who gives a damn). ;-)

Is that really such a good idea? Wouldn't it mean that we would fall
through the floor and end up as a black hole?

I won't. I'll just fuse you and wait until you head explodes. :D

LOL. I had to look up that little bit of colloquial jargon.

I'm not sure what it would mean except change of such a scale that most of the
world wouldn't know what to do with it.
We're looking for The Monolith, and there's no telling what will happen once we
find it.

Been there, done that. People just think I'm smoking a "funny" cigarette. :)

Yes, suck as in suck up. Either light or affection. :)

If the world were still there. I'm thinking more of the repulsive force.

Again do we want to? I'm thinking along the lines of an alarm that
announces that the rats have escaped from their cage.
Which reminds me of a very simple alarm system I saw once. I was working
in Taronga Zoo a couple of decades ago. I got a back room tour around
the monkey enclosure. Just as you came to the outer door there was a
small window with a banana on the inside ledge. If the banana was not
there then there was a very good chance that a monkey had escaped from
the inner enclosure and eaten the fruit. Simpler and cheaper than an
electronic alarm.

Hmm.
Step #1:
Turn on computer monitor.
Step #2.....
:-P
I have no idea what might be going on; in Windows Media Player, the downloaded
video doesn't start playing at all (so I use an alternate app.) A black screen
*while* the video plays is a mystery.
