Actually, if I were just cataloging things like that, I'd either use a database
(oh boy, are there some people very adamant about not using a spreadsheet as a
database... :O ) or I'd set up a local directory with small html files and an
index.

OR - you can do what I've done with some frequently used pieces of code, and
have a directory of text files, and add that to your POV-Ray insert menu.
