Hi,

puzzle designed by Alfons Eyckmans. It consists of only eight parts, which are
all quite basic. Nevertheless, the puzzle is surprisingly difficult, requiring
24 moves to release the first piece and another 21 to release the third.

The puzzle is modelled after a copy I own, a photo of which can be found on
Flickr at
https://www.flickr.com/photos/eriban/32864530791/in/album-72157676568775503/.
When comparing it to the attached preview image, it's clearly not a
photo-realistic match. It's difficult to get the textures to exactly match.
Furthermore, texture tweaking is also not something I particularly enjoy, so I
tend to consider it "good enough" after a while.

The animation itself can be found on YouTube at https://youtu.be/qOPygtA8JqY. I
hope you like it!

Cheers,
Erwin

These animations blow my mind. The puzzle itself and the motion. Not to
mention your textures. :-)

What is the brown wood?

Thanks, it is the same in English. Wikipedia says the common name is
African Rosewood. A good choice for contrast.
