Animated version of the one I put on p.b.i. It took 18 hours to render the 94
frames of this anim, before I stopped it 'cause I got bored.
Can anyone explain the flickering? I think it's a side effect of the radiosity,
but I'm new to radiosity so I really have no idea 8)

Yes, the tell tale sign of radiosity looks like to me. Seen it said to
raise the count and such but I seriously doubt it ever goes away, but don't
take my word for it. I think the sampling is done in such a way that
effectively randomizes frame to frame.
Seems to be an ameoba with rabies seen in a ultra sound viewer.

Well, fortunately(?) the render time was horrendous so I think I'll just avoid
radiosity for animation work. Though this particular object looks sooo much
nicer with it!

Can ameobas get rabies?

Looks good,
the flickering can probably be reduced with higher quality radiosity
settings, which will of course be much slower.

Can ameobas get anything would be a good question too.
