Remember the Spirograph drawing toy? Well it's now good for glows in
MegaPovPlus.
Dave Dunn, the AOL POV-Ray Chat host showed me a web page having a
spirograph java applet with the equation there used to do it. So he made
one in POV-Ray using a blob and sent the script to me. glow{} is the
perfect thing for it, next to blob of course.

I'll post the script I used for this animation (modified from Dave's) at
povray.text.scene-files.

That was way too fast, but very, very cool! It brought back a lot of
memories. :)

Wow!

May we see the source? A friend of mine is DJ and from time to time we
use to make musik in his little garage-studio. Next year is his 30th
birthday and he plans a big party. I said that I can do some animations
with POV to throw them on a big screen. (the Austin Powers animation
will be one of them).
My first thought when I saw your animation was to do rerender a longer
version for the party. It's a kind of 70s/80s disco feeling.

Karl
