Hello all,

37a. So I decided to make a switch from MegaPOV 1.2.1 to the newer SMP-aware
version.

through near the interjection points. This is especially visible when behind the
interjecting faces lies an other face which should block the view to the
background.

In real world usage you get this behavior nearly every time you are using Poser
figures or 3rd-party models from one of the various sources around. In the case
of Poser faces very often interject because of the way the faces are bend by
Poser for posing the figures or are applied to the figure like hair or clothes.
Other models are often designed that way that faces interject.

My demonstration object as made in Wings3D, exported as an .obj and transferred
using the free PoseRay. It's just two faces crossing each other (the blue ones)
with a third plane in the background (green). All three are in the same

Here's the little demo code:

And here is the resulting picture in POV-Ray 3.7 beta 37a:

Same code rendered in POV-Ray 3.62 (the color changes result from the different
way POV-Ray 3.7 treats gamma-correction):

As you can see in POV-Ray 3.7 beta 37a there is a thin red line indicating the

non-SSE-enabled version. Same results.
