Following on from the last thread on this, could anyone tell me how I can
render with using the beta ( need SMP and SSE2 ) withou either getting the
out of memory error, or when setting BlurOk=0 the dark o/p ??.

Thanks, Adrian.

The scene uses radiosity, which is not working correctly in 3.7 at this
point. And even if it were, it does not render in multiple threads since
there are issues with SMP and radiosity which we have yet to resolve.

As the scene has a switch allowing it to be rendered without radiosity, you
could try using the windows 16a beta (http://www.povray.org/beta/rtr/). Apart
from adding RTR it also has a few bugfixes, meaning the render will work as
long as you set RadOK to 0. (Note of course you won't get the same result as
if radiosity was turned on).

Ok, thanks Chris. Any suggestions as to when this might be working under
3.7 ?.
Adrian.

If you mean 'rendering using radiosity with all threads' (which seems to be
what you want), then it will be a while. The SMP radiosity issue is not
straightforward and we want to clean out most of the other problems in the
codebase before we tackle it.
