A similar request was made recently regarding displaying the frame
number in the status bar, eg. next to the pph counter. I can't say if
the suggestion was accepted by the Team or not but this seems to be a
popular item on the wish list, so you can at least hope :)

I third this, or at least I wish, the message-window could be updated
before the rendering. What I mean is the behaviour of the Dos-Povray,
that is, when I render an animation, i got the message 'Rendering
frame 2 of 200, and then he starts to render. Whenever I render an
animation in window$ and stop it and want to go on later, I have to
scroll up the message window, see the 'Rendering frame 2 of 200'
message of the last frame and add one to it, before saving it to the
ini.
I think this is an old request, but i dunno. Maybe it's a problem with
the way windows updates its windows ':-)' or it's not POV's fault
anyway, but if you can change this, i would appreciate it
Thanks,
cukk
