It seems surprisingly difficult to find the "Table of Contents" page if
you start from the middle of the docs.

I happened to invoke the help by pressing F1 with the cursor on a
keyword, and then wanted to find the (unnumbered) "Table of Contents"
page.

There's no reference to it in the "contents" pane or in the "index"
pane, and there's no "Prev" link on page 1.0.

POV 3.5b2, AMD K6-2 500, 128Mb

The HTML TOC is really redundant; it's there because the doc generator makes it, but
the TOC in the left-hand pane of the HTML Help window is considered the one that you
should refer to.
