POV 3.5 beta 16
POV: 3.5 beta 16
OS: Win2K Prof, ver. 5.0.2195 SP 2
CPU: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~731 Mhz
RAM: 128 MB
I always start rendering of animations with +GAout.txt
in latest file I noted that time counted in stream is different than time
counted in time written in time creation of file
Here is time extracted from output stream:
00:00:00 so far, Rendering frame 17, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 5 hours 36 minutes 9.0 seconds (20169 seconds)
05:36:11 so far, Rendering frame 18, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 6 hours 6 minutes 35.5 seconds (21995 seconds)
12:13:13 so far, Rendering frame 19, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 6 hours 21 minutes 6.7 seconds (22866 seconds)
19:03:24 so far, Rendering frame 20, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 6 hours 18 minutes 12.3 seconds (22692 seconds)
25:12:53 so far, Rendering frame 21, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 5 hours 42 minutes 38.0 seconds (20558 seconds)
28:33:14 so far, Rendering frame 22, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 5 hours 18 minutes 35.0 seconds (19115 seconds)
31:51:35 so far, Rendering frame 23, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 5 hours 2 minutes 21.4 seconds (18141 seconds)
35:16:35 so far, Rendering frame 24, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 50 minutes 3.4 seconds (17403 seconds)
38:40:32 so far, Rendering frame 25, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 40 minutes 13.8 seconds (16813 seconds)
42:02:10 so far, Rendering frame 26, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 32 minutes 45.0 seconds (16365 seconds)
45:27:37 so far, Rendering frame 27, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 27 minutes 2.0 seconds (16022 seconds)
48:57:29 so far, Rendering frame 28, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 22 minutes 25.6 seconds (15745 seconds)
52:29:14 so far, Rendering frame 29, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 17 minutes 44.8 seconds (15464 seconds)
55:50:50 so far, Rendering frame 30, going to 50.
Time For Trace/Frame: 4 hours 13 minutes 59.1 seconds (15239 seconds)
59:15:55 so far, Rendering frame 31, going to 50.
and here is time returned via simple dir *.png command
for example time of frame 29 is ~4:17 according to output stream and ~3:22
according to system. I understand ic time returned in output can be shorter
becouse not all CPU time is used for POVing but why it is larger ?
Example scene is large and strongly use iso_csg so tell me if extraction is
really required, I have not much time :-(
