Folks,

can someone please double-check whether the Unix build process (the
`prebuild.sh` step, to be precise) properly processes the docs on Mac OS
or other BSD-style Unixes? I have a hunch that it might not be the case,
as some of the `sed` search patterns involved seem to not work on Mac OS
(and maybe other BSD-style Unix systems).

Specifically, `\s` is used as placeholder for arbitrary whitespace,
which doesn't seem to be supported on Mac OS by default.
