This is a known issue, and will be addressed when time permits; please 
don't worry about it for now.

Can you please be more specific? A full scene showcasing the problem may 
probably be required for a useful answer; INI and command line settings 
might also be needed.

Yup - there has been a major change regarding ambient and radiosity.

Just one little note, to reduce possible confusion for users:

In povray.ini, it is still mentioned that "up 20 paths may be specified.". 
This is not true anymore.

The answer has already obtained. "AMBIENT" NO LONGER WORKS IN RADIOSITY SCENES"
