Wow!

I just rendered a scene with the beta which expired on Nov. 15th, and it
seems there was a tremendous memory leak which nearly halted my computer (it
was so slow that I thought it had halted=crashed).

I am not sure if the fault is within the beta, or maybe caused by AVG
Antivirus which was running at the same time and checked all the files.

If this thread could be important, replay and I will post the scene file(s)
and my system specs.

Thanks,

Sven

please do, a minimal example if possible will as always help most.

Hi again.

I tried in different ways to minimize but that prevents that fault. What
should I do?

I packed everything in a ZIP archive and could e-mail it, in case this is
okay for you. The file size of the ZIP archive is 4.37 MB and includes all
related files (graphics, includes, ini, POV scene). Sorry that I cannot
minimize the scene without killing that strange problem. Let me know if I
should send it.

In fact, that error just started to occur when i made a small addition of a
box to the scene, which itsels is correctly implemented.

Best greetings,

Sven

FYI, in the future, please use more descriptive subject lines as per common
Usenet practice. That way other people having the same problem do not have
to read your article but just the subject line when checking if the problem
has been reported before.

If there was, you would see it posted here.

PS Sometimes it takes a week or two, sometimes it won't be mentioned
until the next release. I know it's hard waiting, especially with
something as awsome as POV, but try to be patient with the developers :)
