POV-Ray 3.7 beta 11c. also with beta 11b.
When I try to render an animation that use file i/o to store values for the next
frame, the output 
file name is ignored. Instead, you get a file named pv[hexnumber].tmp in the \tmp
folder. The number 
used looks random and changes from one run to the next.
The problem surfaces in "bounce.pov" and "life.pov"
Not tested other scene.
