3.5.beta.RC5.icl.win32
WinXP, P3 800MHz, 512MB SDRAM, ATI M4 32MB VRAM
Display window is clipping to 132 pixel width, so any smaller res. and it
has black border along the right side. A side effect is the inability for a
selected region to render the area if selection goes onto that border,
showing only a empty display window.
I realize this was always a limitation, having to have some blank space
filling the window for the title bar to be shown, but the lack of a forced
selection zone at the resolution borders (just the right side in this
instance) probably needs to be considered or else it is difficult to get the
selection area to meet up along that blank space.
This wouldn't be all that much to concern about until Windows GUI settings
happened to make for a much larger title bar. But enough about that....
Also, selected region renders are not saving the scene file before
proceeding. This is independant of the other thing said above. Therefore, a
manual save is needed instead. IIRC this worked okay at some time in the
past.
A bit of deja vu here because this all seems like it was said before at some
point in time.

Incomplete observation before. Scene files are saved when the Shift+Select
is used, putting the area into the command line. Just not saved if only
using the mouse cursor for a temporary selected area.
If that was decided as the best way to go about it I couldn't remember and a
search didn't locate anything to say otherwise.
