I am using the Linux release of 3.5, and I can't find a documentation file, 
per se.  I have the man page, but that's all I've got.  Is there more, and 
I'm just missing it?  I hope this is also the correct place to post this!

In contrast to what the man page says the docs are in
/usr/local/share/doc/povray-*
