I'm not sure whether this is really a bug, but I'll mention it anyway. If
you go to File > Save As... and save the file with the same filename it
already has, it says: "This file is already open in the editor."
POV-Ray 3.5 beta 10, Windows 98 SE.

I'd fix this if I could work out why users would want to 'save as' a file with
its existing filename.

Because you've mistakenly selected "save as" instead of "save", and
doesn't want to go back :-)

In which case the error message 'file is already open in editor' is
entirely correct ;)
seriously, if I happen to be working on the editor one day I may fix
this (if I remember).
