when you maximise the winpov editor by double clicking its title bar, it
maximises ok, but you get a prompt saying 'text selection not supported in
this window'
only messages display is on, no files loaded

Please report your OS. The problem does not show itself on W2K.

Neither under Win98. I get the mentioned message only if I click and drag
over the message window, which is probably intended.

Confirm.
Win2000 PIII-1000 512 Mb POV 3.5 b9
But this prompt does not show itself every time.
Sometimes after first double click, sometimes after several double clicks on
the title bar.

Maybe it is mousedriver-dependent ...
Sometimes I also get this messagebox, when having done a doubleclick
before, and the former window disappeared on this action.
It seems the Mousedriver passes the doubleclick also to the messagewindow,
that's behind.
I'm using w2k, with the recent logitech-drivers.
I have assigned the doubleclick to the middle-button...
maybe, maybe, maybe this can help ...

I can duplicate this on Win2K w/o any service packs. Logitech trackball
using Microsoft's generic Logitech driver.

I thought after I posted that it may be because I have the pov window on my
secondary vid, but after just checking found that not to be the case
