  Everything that has been included is in the docs.
  I think that the blob pattern was dropped for one reason or another.

No, it won't be included in 3.5.  There are also a few other minor changes
from the status report.  Basically all features that will be in 3.5 are in
this beta and are documented in some way or the other with the exception (in
some parts): splines.

You must have missed the updated list I included in my article on
http://www.povray.co.uk/

PS: Note that some things have changed a bit from the article. For example,
the change of the "pattern" keyword to "function", and the resulting
reworking of that concept.

And crackle with metric 1. The cells-like look was a bug, and the current
look, which is completely different, is the correct one.
