textures/finishes/var_refl.pov
leads to segmentation fault.

advanced/benchmark.pov
does not render:

         function{XsinPigm(x,y,z).gray} <----ERROR

Parse Error: Invalid number of parameters: 3 supplied, 0 required!"

Which seems nonsense to me (unless you plan a major change of the function
syntax).
