Hello!

I read and proofread the entire "Window's" specific
help (tips and sections 1.0--1.12.1). I found
several grammar and spelling errors, as well as
other errors that might just be considered stylistic.
Additionally, some errors of omission were found.
Feel free to use or disregard as you see fit. I
have tried to take into consideration "international"
spelling conventions, so I apologize in advance if
any of my corrections are merely differences of that
nature.

All documentation is from the Window's 3.5 Beta version
(expiring May 16th, 2002).

My changes are surrounded by '*'s.

1.5.5.2
(line 1) "looks at the *characters* to the left and right..."
(line 22) remove the word "therefore" -- "If the above test passes, the
word .."
Alternately, move it to the beginning of the sentence --
"Therefore, if the above test passes, the word on the left ..."
1.6.3 "Some users *have* assumed that commands with ... menus *aren't*
       assignable"
  (no pluperfect situation exists here.)
1.6.5 "was not changeable *when, in fact, it* is."
1.7.1.4 "contains *an* information and help field".
1.7.1.5 "In the above example image, an edit window *has* been selected"

is
called QUICKRES.INI by default, and is located in the directory*..."
  (3rd paragraph)

1.10.5.1.1 (first paragraph)
"If this option is checked, POVWIN *will automatically* load a..."
("optionally" is redundant, as we are discussing the case where the
option
is checked.)
"load a *file, in which a parse error has occurred, into* the

paragraph).

"then obviously the *program's* return code..."
1.10.7.2.3 (2nd paragraph)

  (3rd paragraph)
"can cause the *unit's* normal heat-reducing..."
1.10.8.2.4.5 (last paragraph)
"In practice, choosing *tileable* bitmaps other than..."

Tips: (I found the complete list, but don't remember where. Otherwise,
I would have numbered the tips. As it stands, I just put some key
words to (hopefully) help identify which tip I am referring to).
==========================================================================

right-click on files :
-----------------
"dismiss this tip dialog*,* press ALT-S,"

Output_File_Name:
-----------------
"You can cause POV-Ray to output all image files to a single
directory by specifying *one using the "Output_File_Name" INI
  parameter*.
E.g., to output all image files to ...
Unless you explicitly specify an output file, the output file will
be automatically placed in *the same directory as the source file*.

The final two tips are inconsistent in that they actually complete
the "Did you know ...?" question. The rest of the tips do not take
that form.

Cheers,
