yes, I know, I'm insisting on this point but it's an essential part of
my current scene and I can't render it correctly since a few versions...

Linux RC 2, SuSE 7.3, 128MB, P3 600
No problems here. Could you post an example scene?

I have this error since a few beta versions. I don't have my scene here
but I have the problem with media1 and media2 samples. In my scene
(didn't tried in the samples), when I remove the "media_attenuation on"
from my light_source definition, there is no more problem...
David.

Dear folks--
I have also had that same error on my Windows XP system at home!
Its annoying. I use the vc++ code as my engine. I can get it to fail
consistently. I just turn on "media_attenuation true" and my next render
gives me an error!

Sorry that I'm OT, but isn't media_attenuation by default switched on?
