Please post the Beta version numbers and the expiration date for the
beta versions of POVRay on the download page. I just downloaded the
6.8MB file for the Linux beta, April 16th release, and installed it last
night. It has expired already. With about 20 characters of text on the
download page I would have known if I had that version already and that
it had already expired. I think it would save people a lot of grief by
doing this.
Other than that, keep up the good work and thanks for all the effort.

Can I add to this that I would also like to be able to
find the expiration date in an installed POVray.
The only way to find the expiration day for me used to
be to reinstall and find the info somewhere in the second
or so window. I may have missed the right menu, but anyway
it is not where I expected it (either in the help of the
about) With the new weekly updates I can remember
it though :)
Another strange observation is that I just tried to install
RC2 on a win2000 machine (900 MHz celeron) (POV was already
running on two 98 machines and I needed another one :)
It did not work because it was already expired (?). date on
my machine was 24 april 2000. After shutting down and
rebooting it worked so I am happy now, just somewhat
surprised.

At every new run of POV-Ray look in the Message window and near the end is
the number of days left until the expiry.
