"I/O Restrictions" talks about the Windows version of POV-Ray.

Confirmed (as well as the naviagtion bar bugs)

The whole first chapter of the docs is quite provisional in the unix
version right now.

I've commented out sections of the platform-specific section of the docs
that appear in the first chapter until I have time to finish implementing
some of the platform-specific functionality (I/O restrictions being the
best example. The commenting out didn't have the net effect I'd
anticipated with regard to the final processed docs. I'll have the I/O
restriction docs fixed once the functionality is implemented in the Unix
version.
