POV-Ray for Windows v3.5b1
Windows 98
Intel P2 400
128 megs

The speed indicator remains at 0 PPH when
re-rendering the pov images.

Description of steps:

Install the beta
Launch it
Read the tips about being able to re-render all pictures in high colors,
instead of the shipped version,
so Choose to re-render Insert menu bitmap in the menus.
Nice pictures, but the speedmeter remains always at 0 PPH,
but it's rendering fine.

Because the INI telling the scene(s) how to render sizes, AA and such, has
+am2 used which is the reason for that bug. Method two AA sampling is at
fault, so bear that in mind when rendering your own scene files too.

The +am2 PPH problem has been added to the job list. We hope it will
be fixed sometime before the release.

This has been corrected in beta 8
(or maybe earlier)
Anyway, the problem is gone away.
Thanks
