1. The keep single instance option works, but, according to the docs,
when double-clicking a file in explorer that file should be opened in
the instance that is already running. currently the running instance is
just brought into the foreground. This has been around since 3.1 & I
think 3.0.
2. Little annoyance - the show whitespace option: in POVWin 3.1 the
whitespace symbols were a dot in place of spaces and a symbol that looks
like two greater than signs >>.
In 3.5 the symbols are totally different and frankly they s**k. This may
not be a bug but it should still be changed IMHO.
+1 Nitpick:
In anims & also sometimes in stills it would be nice to have the new
frame paint over the old one in the render window.

I guess it could be usefull to watch an animation run in
super-slow-motion like that, but I prefer the current checkered
background as it's easier to see exactly what pixels are currently being
rendered. If this gets implemented, I'd like it to be configurable.

Do you have 32 files open in the editor already?

Wasn't it Mark Wagner who wrote:

How about doing the same for queued renders as well?

I think it works too well. Keep single instance is turned off but I can't
start a new instance of Pov either by double-clicking a file, the Pov
short-cut or even the pvengine.exe. Every time the currently runnig pops up.
Turing it on doesn't change anything.. and all I wanted to do was play
around while something big was cooking.. :(
