I can't believe this hadn't been corrected:
 The message that indicates the frame to be render is still displayed AFTER
 the rendering.
I believe a \n is missing, or something like that (a flush ?)

ObMsg : Povray-3.5 b2, W98, Pentium MMX, 256 Mo

Scenes: Anything with animation

Messages :

 00:00:01 so far, Rendering frame 1, going to 54.

 00:02:09 so far, Rendering frame 2, going to 54.

This is now corrected in beta 8.
