Hi again,
Work is getting in the way, so I can't spend as much time infront of POV
as I would like. Therefore this message isn't as detailed as I would
like it to be, but I thought that I should bring it to your attention
anyway.
I tried to render the scene "trace-wicker.pov" a few times.
The first time the computer froze and I had to force-restart.
The second time it quitted with a Type 2 error (address error?).
It happens after the parsing, at the same moment the image window
appears. It seems like it doesn't even get time to render the first
pixel.
Also:
The when I drag a template icon to the scene file in the editor, the
template text appears on a single line with a square where it should be
a return. Wrong kind of return character? Or am I doing something wrong?
Tom

In Stuffit Expander, go to Preferences > Cross Platform and switch to
"Never". The unstuff the archive again. A different archive method will be
used for beta 2 (which will be delayed a bit until this really works).

Aha, that explains it.
Btw, is there any way to edit the templates? (No need to explain how, just
curious if it's possible) I tried ResEdit, but nothing happened. Guess that
program packages are a too recent idea.
Just came to think of something. Can this missed StuffIt preference be the
cause of my other problems?

Also, are my reports of any use to you? As the next beta is on its way, my
reports on this beta maybe are totally useless to you . Let me know.

Sure. I can only fix bugs I know about!

Just wanted to know as it said elsewhere "Bug reports for beta.1
will no longer be accepted or useful to us."
So, I thought that I perhaps were wasting time for both you and me.
