I don't see anything indicating this difference being related to 
radiosity and i also don't see a reason why the 3.5 version should be 
'correct' while the other is wrong.  If you want to know what causes 
this difference you will have to post the code (only a minimal scene, 
not the whole mesh!)

Okay, here it is!
The scene isn't really that big w the mesh either but...

Looking at the render of the scene you provided, I cannot see anything
wrong.  What wrong output should one expect to see in the scene you posted?
