Examples of the problem described in povray.beta-test.

Apologies to those reading with news readers that are particularly fussy
about the presence of non-MIME attachments in messages that have MIME
headers. There's not much I can do about it from my end. Perhaps someone
with something like Agent could repost them in a format that everyone
can read.

This problem is being excluded from the known bugs list on the grounds
that it is "Not a bug, but a limit in the crackle function when used
with isosurfaces."

Whilst accepting the fact that there are limitations with the use of
crackle, it's such a useful pattern to use in isosurfaces that I'd be
much happier if it could be persuaded to fail in a less spectacular way.

The first image was rendered at 320x240. The second image was rendered
at 800x600 from the same source and then reduced to 320x240 with
PaintShop Pro. The source code is the simplified version which I posted
in http://news.povray.org/1MkG+AAk### [at] econymdemoncouk
