I'm rendering a scene with megapov and mechsim. The idea was to use mechsim to
drop some marbles (masses) into a bowl so that they settle naturally. I don't
actually need the animation, just the last last position after all the masses
are settled in place. I've looked at save_file and load_file but really don't
understand what they are saving. Is there any way to get the mass vector
locations so that I can use them in my final scene render without having to run
the mechsim every time?

It is always a pleasure to watch again your animation and to appreciate
the little details like the marbles falling out of the system, the
flying bug and, especially, to discover, at the end of the animation,
the /true/ power driving the machine ;-) Very well done indeed.
