Hi people. As I type this, POV-Ray is generally stressing out my
[very fast] CPU generating an animation :-) When I get it right, I'm
going to post it on povray.binaries.animations. I was just
wondering... I don't know what the eventual filesize is going to be,
but how big a file are people generally willing to download? I'm
thinking if it's small enough I'll put it as an attachment, but if
it's bigger I'll post a URL... Any ideas on appropreate sizes?

Thanks.
Andrew.

PS. It's a "bubble" animation ;-)

Would you mind refraining from adding this unnecessary signature stuff?
It just uses space on the server and makes reading more difficult. There
is really not much danger of someone faking your identity when posting on
this server.

Just so there is no confusion, the file size limit for that group is 700k
before upload. This will result in a uploaded file size of about 1meg after
encoding. Anything larger should be posted to a personal web page and linked
to from the news server.

Thanks,

Right. Cool. Well, POV-Ray is [still!] rendering the thing, but I will
probably have to post a URL, cos I think this is gonna be *big* 8^|

Andrew.
