The recent posts by Popov (cubes in 2D) and Xenos (complex stuff,
J-Print, .general) reminded me of the following article, available on
the web. It doesn't answer either of their questions, but it may be
of interest to some other readers.
It concerns orthographic projections of polyhedron shapes, and gives
some nice complex number identities, for example, on projected
vertices of tetrahedra and cubes. It also gives some interesting
historical references, and some connections to other parts of
mathematics.
