Here's a glitch that should be checked into. I've had this happen in the
past, but had forgotten about it. In the mesh editor, I set the first
subdivision level with the up arrow to 1. Then I tried to select edges by
clicking "d" with the curser in the viewport. I clicked several times and
nothing happened. Then I noticed that the subdivision level said "6", and
the program was in permanent locked-up hourglass mode. I had to shut it
down, and lost my work, since I had not titled it, saved it, or rendered it.
