Here's something fun to do: create a direct code texture called
'variables' or whatever as the first material in a Moray scene,
and use it to store #declare statements for variables you want
to use among more than one material.

There is a problem with using this aspect of direct code: you can't
preview textures that use a variable defined in another texture.  ^^;

Oh yes, only the selected material is exported for preview.
It could be interesting to have a 'slightly' modified material editor which
could invoque named material items in following materials -isn't it Lutz?-
:c)
That way, we could define one pigment(for example) and use it in several
textures  as a reference.
