Hello everyone. Just a simple question. I have been messing with
atmospheric media for a long time and I just cannot get it to work right.
Can someone maybe post the exact settings (absorbtion, scattering, samples
settings etc.) that they have used for me and others who are in my situation
so that I can have a starting point for experimenting with media? I would
greatly apreciate it.

care to elaborate on exactly what you're trying to do? as a starting
point for media, try absorbtion -0.2 scattering 0.2 with isotropic.

Also remember that it is easier to enclose the media in a hollow object than
to use it directly as an atmospheric media.
There is a good POV tutorial around, which I shall post right away on
m.binaries. I do not remember who the author was...

I shall post in m.binaries a little utility I have been working on, on and
off, that gives you the possibility to make a sky with three cloud layers.
Media is used and can be controlled. Play with the test settings to see how
it works.
It was written first in Moray, then I worked on it in POV. It can be used
either in POV or in Moray of course.

Have fun!!

Thomas
