An image I've done following a travel in Genova (Italy). It shows th e ducal
palace with two guards, an afternoon in 1595, just after the building of
this marvellous  edifice.
Only made with moray. The guards are my own work.
Light, radiosity, rendered with pov-ray 3.6

Are you sure about that? 
I've always thought that Mediterranean light was too contrasty. The
shadows are very deep if there is a sunlit area like the courtyard.
Maybe I misunderstand the effects of radiosity as I don't use it
myself.
