| | | I'm doing a lightsaber with a green blade, but I need it with a white
background. When I run the mdl with a white background, the blade is
invisible. However, with a black background, it works exactly right,
and, as more white is added, the blade disappears. How can I get the
emission color work right with a white background. BTW, this also
happens when any white object is placed behind the blade.

On Mar. 3, 1999 there was a media based lightsabre posted to this
group. You might want to take a look at it for ideas.

| | | What you're needing is 'absorption <1,0,1>' or something similar to that in
order to compliment the emission so the background gets those colors removed
leaving only green.
