I think we'll have to wait 3 or 4 days more (if we are lucky ;-).
At least that's the way it use to be. Relax.

Yes, last time was about a week after the voting deadline. The suspense
killed me, and I wasn't even in the competition.
However, they did say that results would be available on March 18th, in the
IRTC announce email a couple weeks ago...
All day long, I've been checking to see if the new links work...

"Voting is now open for the January-February 2003 round. Votes will be
accepted from 4 March through 17 March 2003. Winners will be announced on 18
March 2003."

The voting text file read:
Votes will be accepted during the period 5 March through 20 March 2003.
So the results will probably be even later. I hope you don't have to wait as
long as the Frozen Moment round, but just voting took quite a bit of time
so I'm sure getting everything together is no small task.

Yeah, I have no idea what's involved, and it's not as if we're paying anyone
to do this. They're all volunteers.
So, we probably shouldn't expect anything until at least Friday, the 21st,
I would guess at this point. Strangely, I couldn't download the text form
when I tried last week. I tried it again just now, and it still doesn't
work. Maybe I tried the wrong spot.
BTW, I should have put a ";-)" after my "NOT", since I'm not actually
irritated about this. Just very curious/nervous... I need to relax, and
this morning's Mountain Dew isn't helping... ;-)

I hadn't seen that one. So when does the voting actually end?
I would think that info at least should be consistent, especially in a round
as hard to vote as this one. I'd hate to think someone didn't vote because
on the 17th they weren't done when they actually had 3 more days.

It was because of the butterfly ballots. I accidentally voted for Pat
Buchannon's image when I meant to vote for Al Gore's. Furthermore, some of
the ballots contained votes higher than 20 or lower than 1, and rather than
throw those out, we should try to discern the intent of the voter.
If you're not from the US, you might not get the reference...
