Hmm. A chance to use the macros I was unable to demonstrate in the Old Tech
round - pressure of work (50% of the workforce floored with an intestinal
bug) literally brought all my work on my old steam engine to a halt.
Had a glance at the entries tho' and particularly looked at yours, Txemi.
Nice work. I especially like your reversed title - odranoeL! :-)

Ah, that explains the notable absence of the Lion... bummer :(
But maybe you can get an honorable mention in Guiness for it, first steam
engine to contract the flu!

Eight years ago we had already this topic :)

A lack of topics? Or maybe I'm becoming very old ... ;)

Gena.

The admins discussed this, too.

1) Architecture was the topic that was on top of the "vote for topic" list.
2) oct95 was the old Matt Kruse competition, not the official super IRTC.
So technically, the IRTC has never done architecture.
3) We figured most of the current batch of top artistes weren't participating
   back then.
4) Maybe Nathan will come out of retirement for the "special" topic.
5) It is the topic people voted for.

Bill is very hesitant to select a topic other than the one on the top of the
topic list. That *is* the reason for that system. Once or twice he skipped
the top rated topic when it was either already done, or too close to the previous
round's topic.

So he posts the top 5, sez "i think we should do this one" and we all grunt
our approval.

Kewl drawing. Beats the hell out of my reference:
http://users.utu.fi/natlet/images/uploads/architecture2003/YoKyla_Turku.png
-> a depressive student village corridor for my first entry (that is, if
I complete it :). Started yesterday, and keeping some kind of a progress
gallery at

Heh - it ain't the reference, it's the result that counts...

If you want a real challenge, you could try this:

Heh - recent research has shown that the doodles in the margins of Gaudi's plans
that were previously considered meaningless are actually a bunch of
iso-surfaces.

On my first trip to Barcelona, I struggled to open my hotel-room blinds for ten
minutes, and when I did, I found this outside my window:
http://www.op.net/~jmeltzer/Gaudi/palauguell/roof.jpg

(my window was one of the windows on the building on the left).
