Yep, I'll second that, and I'm chuffed to bits with my result!

Yes, congratulations to all. I am moving in another direction, so won't be
entering any more IRTCs, but the experience was a good one.

Judging from the comments I recieved, the response to my picture was almost
exactly as I had expected it to be. That is, a few very enthusiastic
responses (I received another via email) and a slightly larger group of
responses from those who did not care for the style of the image. I was
surprised that the background was so negatively received, but I suppose that
is consistent with the pattern I just mentioned.

I was looking at the voting results and noticed that the winning entry had
the highest concept score, but not the highest AM or TM scores. This is
something I would expect to see in a round like Worlds Within Worlds or
Frozen Moments, but am quite surprised to see in the Spectacular Landscapes
round.

Thanx to all your nice comment to my picture.
It was a challenge to make a terragen picture that could enter on the award
list.I just want to show that terragen
is not so "basic".
(after rain picture, artistic merit).
Thanx to all.

YOW!!! I finished in the top 10!!! (My Bryce entry - cathe_rg)

My 1st POV image (edge_rg) did much better than I expected, especially since
I've used Bryce for a couple years and only just learning Povray. Well,
now I'm psyched for this round! Hmmmm, what's a good frozen moment...?

Thanks to you all for the votes and the comments, and thanks to the POV team
for such an excellent (and FREE!) ray tracer!

Now I think I choose wrong.
I didn't dare meither make coments nor vote but I promise next time I enter
IRTC I do.
I must thank as well my friends of the french NG
