Definite promise.
Just got done voting for topics for the next round.
I really bombed some topics which I liked in the past. Anything that had to
do with nature or outdoor scenes I gave a poor rating to. I gave high marks
to topics dealing with science fiction, architecture, and anything else
having to do with civilization.
When do topics expire from the topic suggestion system? I noticed that some
of the old topics have remained while others are gone.

I seem to recall Bill Marrs saying that only the top 80 are now kept. As
soon as a poorly voted topic reaches above that level it is automatically
culled from the list by the server.

When a topic has been used for a round, is that topic gone forever? I
wouldn't mind if topics would be available again after maybe a year or two,
as there are quite a lot of past topics I would like to have gotten a shot
at, but I wasn't doing this back then.

Democracy rules. You may submit any topic you choose. If enough people
vote on it the topic will be used. Getting the majority to vote on a
topic already used might be a bit difficult to do but stranger things
have happened...
