<tic>
Having kids of my own, I barely notice the difference
between normal life and tragedy...

FWIW I've started sketching out an idea suggested by the line in Pink
Floyd's 'Two Suns In The Sunset'..."you stretch the frozen moment with your
fear..".
Don't want to give too much away but it's going to rely heavily on emitting
media and (probably) radiosity with no light_source.
.....anyone got a render farm I can borrow? :-)

That's the definition for a still. As I see it, any entry will be allowed
then. :-)

But I thought of a starship examining a black hole's event horizon.
According to general relativity, that's the only place in Universe with a
REAL frozen moment. :-)

I thought the same when I read the Topic's description
(a still image is always a frozen momment, isn't it?)

It seems to me that the topic is implying that your scene freeze something
that would otherwize pass to quickly to see. i.e. I don't think a bowl of
fruit or a landscape is on topic.

This topic always reminds me of that one entry not too long ago, of the
man under the ice... looking upwards at the broken hole as he is falling
deeper under the frozen water. It was one of my favouriates that round.
