(b) if you want to be able to look at yourself in the mirror, or (c)
don't submit anything but vote anyway. The IRTC admins will reject your
vote, but your wife and son don't have to know about it.

I like the idea that tricking the IRTC carries a greater moral cost than
tricking Lu.... What really scares me is that I probably agree. ;)

 d) make raytracing a family activity too, and submit good images.

 e) ask the IRTC admins to become a permanent judge (there is a
    petition form somewere on irtc.org).

Fabien.

Not my ideal - then I'd have an excuse every (bi)month not to produce an
image. I like entering the IRTC since it forces me to actually complete*
something.

* insofar as any image is complete

None of the above or below- just register as a
judge like I did, that way you can vote even if
you didn't enter.

Yeah, but ask yourself... why are you really
interested?

I'd have to say c) as it's the only one that doesn't cheapen the
competition. As others have mentioned, petitioning to become a permanent
judge is the best solution.

Then you should definitely go for b) and do something that's easy to do but
looks really stunning.

Or how about..

f) Submit something you've done already that's off-topic.... ;-)

Good luck...

If you're a regular voter, and it's a family affair, perhaps you should
apply to be a panel judge, so you can vote regardless of image entry.

Nah, I need the pressure to get me modelling. Anyway, found some time over
easter, and my image is now coming along nicely (well, for a quickie). That
said, isos and radiosity on a p90 is, well, slow.
