Hi there!

I had an idea revolving around love. I'm just not sure if it is close
enough to topic.

The idea was to have two wedding-rings, which are encircled with a
heart-shape. This
heart-shape is made of many different little scenes which sort of show
what love is all
about: care, passion, protection, trust, etc.

Is this too-far fetched?

Tim

I feel current topic is similiar to July-August 1998 "Elements" ...

... and your idea somehow similiar in some concepts to

IMO it's good idea.

Well, if you think it's not off-topic, then the chance that others won't
either is
pretty high. So I'll give it a shot! This'll be my first entry then...

Thanks :-)

(there's another one of mine which could suit the concept :
"fmworld.jpg" in the "imaginary worlds" round that came later)

I got married this last summer. The world of the wedding was a world
unto itself. It bore no resemblance to our lives before or after the
wedding. Good Idea.

Good work! ;)

Well, if you'd take at look at binaries.images, you'll find *"Love is like a
vow" Asking for comments and
criticism* - it's an early example of what I had in mind (though some has
changed, but not too much).

On the other hand, I had another idea for the topic, so I might as well
finish this one, enter it,
and go on for the new one (since the making of this one wasn't that
difficult).

Wait to have children and you'll learn the true meaning of "change".
I have two daughters (8 and 4 years old) so I know what I'm speaking of.
No, no, don't laugh; ask your parents.

My best friends have two daughters, almost three and a few months. I'm
sure I'll go through it as well some day.

LOL, I'm still young enough to remember being that age and I asked my
parents what had changed, and my Mum said

'I can't get on the computer, I never imagined that I'd have a son who spent
his spare time staring at code on a computer screen!'

Hehe, long live Pov-Ray

Regards,

Luke

PS: The idea is great, eager to see the outcome

Well, I actually finished it some time ago, but didn't send it
to the IRTC, because it was rather simply done: using
Poser to create some figurs isn't that difficult, and the
image was really made in about two days or such. It
wasn't enough effort to actually be presented to the
IRTC, I wanted something that showed more of what
I currently am able of.

If you're interested in the Wedding-Ring image
(entitled "Love is like a vow"), have a look into
the gallery of my homepage, the link is given below.

There's a WIP section as well, in which you will
be able to look at a near-final version of the image
I actually sent to the IRTC (I finished so early because
RL didn't give me more time).
