Who here has the longest ***expected*** render time for their image,
this round? With my faithful old K6-233, I'm expecting ~15. Anyone
here going for more than 24hrs? More than 48?

Mmm.... I am currently clocking at around 15 minutes with rad and
non-adaptive anti-aliasing for test renders. My pic still needs some
minor adjustments, but I am starting an adaptive anti-aliasing render
before I go to bed, just to in case 4 days isn't enough.

36 hours for my next stills entry, contrast, by measure. 14 3x3 area
lights for realism of the shadows. It is overkill for the scene but it
is quite realistic in this reality.

Well, I had a render running since last Thursday. It was about 65% this
morning and not very satisfactory, so I've killed it (groan).

I had a render that lasted for well over a month (running on a P-90
running Linux) some years back....

Well, my expected time was about 3 days, actual time, 1 day, 22 hours.
Whee.
