A small idea ... (yet!)
http://www.cooliris.com/
To make most captivating views of the images.
What do you say?
It is easy to implement.

Why?
If you haven't installed the extensions... everything as before.
In any case is an *optional* resource.
Flickr have it... Deviantart have it... etc....
Talk half-seriously: IRTC is perhaps less important than Deviantart? ;-)

It has nothing to do with importance. Importance nor seriousness are not
measured by a *flashy* outside or whatever * mirrors and beads* are used to
*pimp up* a site. It is about the content, and that should speak for itself.
Please don't take my criticism personally. This is just how strongly I feel
about this. I would hate to see the IRTC go down this road.

In fact I fully agree with you. ;-)
*Ehy, it seems obvious that this is not a priority!*
My intention was to give a sprinkling of web2.0 to IRTC.
My intention was to try *personal pleasure*(1) (perhaps amusement) to view
images with Cooliris.
In any case, if in the future David Buck (or others) decide to implement
Cooliris I would be happy to help (but I know very little...).
Thanks, thomas!

That's ok, Carlo :-)
And indeed, it is up to the big boss, isn't it? ;-)

Don't worry, you make yourself very well understood. I wish I could do the
same in Italian (which I can read more or less) :-|

Maybe this process could start with something more
established, such as an RSS feed notifying about new
contests - and showing off the winners, of course ;)
