Mostly, it is Real Life that makes a new topic being presented earlier or
sooner, I believe. So, just visit the IRTC site often, or watch the threads
in irtc.stills, or read http://irtc.org/ftp/.message which will be updated
as soon as the new topic is known.

The top level .message file hasn't changed, but there's
one lower down:
ftp://ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/irtc/stills/2006-12-31/.message
That says:
-------------------------
Internet Ray-Tracing Competition November 2006 -- December 2006 Directory
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This directory holds all accepted submissions to the November-December-2006
Internet Ray-Tracing Competition, topic "Childhood Adventures"
-------------------------
Don't know why this one's been done, but the top one hasn't, but it looks
like
the topic is "Childhood Adventures".
Cheers,
Al.

Nice snooping! ;) Well, I certainly hope it's the topic. I'm up for this
one. :)

Hmm, I have to admit that I didn't notice that Tek! But, from what I've
read on the IRTC mailing list, the nice chap that took the admin work on
doesn't have a stable connection at the moment... (recently moved house to a
new location).
From what I understand, I think there are a couple of guys helping out
now, so the animation comp hasn't died as far as I know, it's just later
than normal this time.

Heh, yes Thomas! :) Nice subject, should lead to a whole bunch of
different interpretations. It shouldn't be too hard as most things around us
in life are 'complex' enough! ;)
Having said that, I'm stuck at the moment, this one needs a little more
consideration than normal.
