I am quite happy with my finish, too.  I was hoping to finish in the
top third.  By my best estimates, I would've wound up around 30th.  I
ended up getting 12th!  I got about the technical score I expected,
but I greatly underestimated my artistic and concept scores.
Considering that this is not only my first entry, but also my very
first real ray-tracing scene of any type, I did quite well.

(P.S.  I don't want to be misleading:  I'm a newbie when it comes to
ray-tracing, but I used to work on 3D databases for military
simulators, so I'm not a total graphics novice.)
