If you are familiar with another 3D render engine,...
I think the render engine of POV-Ray is somewhat old. It reflected the history
of 3D technology around 1990s~2010s, but lack the more realistic approach during
2010~2020.

It can produce blurred shadow, but you must put an "area light" on the position
of light_source, then turn on it. You can see the document.
